Father Times Store, a long established shop at the corner of Rte 30 and Market Streets sells a wide variety of clocks and fireplaces as well as the famous Fenton Art Glass.

Henri's Cloud Nine, a widely famous store for prom dresses and wedding dresses is sought after by patrons from as far away as Cleveland -- Located on Market Avenue.

Minerva Cheese Factory has won international acclaim for its baby swiss cheese. You'll find it on the north side of route 30 east of downtown.

The Bluebird Restaurant and gift shop is a pleasant stop for lunch and shopping in the afternoon. There is also an amphitheater with various acts (what is playing is on the Bluebird web site). There is also an outstanding doll museum.

Sheri's Sweets on Short Street features luscious chocolates and her specialty is Joneyes® made from peanut butter and pure chocolate.

Farmgirl Finds in Mechanicstown is a charming home-based store for antiques and other interesting finds. On your way through Augusta you can turn left at the Farmgirl sign and go a mile down that road. The store is on the left. Interesting stuff.

If you come through Augusta (from the East) be sure to stop at the little produce store on the left just after entering the village. Superb, fresh and no pestacides.
