Minerva Cheese Factory has won international acclaim for its baby swiss cheese. You'll find it on the north side of route 30 east of downtown. Off the Beaten Path gift shop next door has high quality cards and gifts.

The Bluebird Restaurant, gift shop and toy museum are now open. The amphatheater has an active show schedule and is being operated by the Carroll County Parks Dist. There are several antique shops around the square in Carrollton. www.bluebird-farm.com

Farmgirl Finds in Agusta along Rt. 9 is a charming home-based store for antiques and other interesting finds. On your way through Augusta you can stop at Manfull's produce store with lots of fresh stuff and yummie baked goods. Farmgirl is attached to the Manful store.

There are several antique stores around the square in the village of Carrollton that are worth a look or two, and the McCook House in Carrollton is an interesting look at the Civil War era.
